AVICENNA Company was established in 1992 when we started with import of herbal products as the exclusive representative of The Himalaya Drug Company from India. In the beginning of the existence of AVICENNA Company this was our only business. More recently (in 2003) we also started our own production of herbal products and preparations.

Our current production consists of a wide range of herbal products and preparations containing herbal extracts of the highest quality and purity. Our products possess a wide spectrum of positive effects on humans organism. Research and development of our products takes several years and we closely cooperate with Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University in Hradec KrålovÊ. A recent product of our cooperation is our preparation GARCIGYM 50 designated for weight reduction.

AVICENNAs goal is to prepare products and preparations that are harmless to peoples health. The principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points system (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are rigorously followed in our plant. All products are tested for a wide range of chemical and microbiology parameters in an accredited laboratory before they leave the plant and reach the final customer. This laboratory is accredited by Czech Institute for Accreditation and results from this laboratory are recognized also by International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

All our products have been approved by Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and during registration process were advised by National Institute of Public Health and State Institute for Drug Control of the Czech Republic.
